Claim at the Kentucky Lottery Headquarters. Claim by mail. Winnings will be deposited directly into your account. Winners will receive an email from the Kentucky Lottery with instructions on how to process your claim. The Kentucky Lottery is required to withhold taxes on any prizes over $5,000.
If you receive a letter claiming that you have won a lottery prize and the letter asks you to contact a listed representative to find out how to claim your winnings, please do not respond to the letter. Winning tickets up to $5,000 may be claimed by mail or in person at any CT Lottery High-Tier Claim Center or CT Lottery Headquarters. CT Lottery Headquarters will accept claims between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
