If you have any questions, please contact the Appeals Tribunal at 1-800-227-7325. What is an appeal hearing? An appeal hearing is an informal legal proceeding with the claimant and the employer that gives each party an opportunity to present their case.
Seated in The Hague, Netherlands, the Tribunal hears individual cases as well as disputes between the two governments. It is composed of nine arbitrators: three appointed by Iran, three appointed by the United States, and a further three—neither Iranian nor Americans—appointed by the previous six arbitrators.
The Tribunal consists of two divisions: an Administrative Law Judge Division and an Appeals Division. The Appeals Division has three Commissioners appointed by the Mayor who review Administrative Law Judge Determinations upon the filing of exceptions by a taxpayer and/or the Commissioner of Finance.
Tax Tribunal. The Tribunal is an administrative court that hears tax appeals for all Michigan taxes. Most of the Tribunal’s appeals involve property tax; however, the Tribunal also hears other state tax issues. The Tribunal is divided into two divisions: the Entire Tribunal and the Small Claims.
PIP stands for personal insurance protection (personal injury protection), and it is an extension of car insurance that covers medical expenses and, in many cases, lost wages. It is often called “no-fault” coverage because its inherent comprehensiveness pays out claims agnostic of who is at fault in the accident.
