The fire alarm specialty technician shall be actively in charge of and responsible for code compliance of all installations of fire alarm system wiring and equipment. Out-of-state corporations will not qualify for a contractor’s license unless they employ a fire alarm specialty technician residing in the state of Michigan.
An appliance technician installs different appliances , performs scheduled maintenance, repairs damaged units, and replaces parts or systems when necessary. Many technicians may have a very general knowledge of appliance repair, and can work on several different types of machines and fixtures.
However, up to one-half (1,000 hours) (22 quarter hours or 15 semester hours) of the experience may be in academic or technical training directly related to fuel piping.
You can become a cast technician with the proper educational and on-the-job training. Graduate from high school with at least a 3.0 grade point average. Focus your high school studies on sciences such as physiology, biology, anatomy and chemistry. Enroll in classes at your local community college or university.
To qualify for the ASE exams, you need at least two years of hands-on experience in the auto body trade. However, formal training through a trade school or vocational college can count toward some of that experience. If you pass each of the tests above, you can gain the designation of ASE-Certified Master Collision Repair Technician.
