Note: You can Skip inviting email contacts. Tap Done. Tap your profile picture, then select Settings. Tap Account preferences, and under the Syncing options section, select Sync Contacts. Switch the toggle to On. If you switch the toggle from On to Off, you can turn off contact syncing.

In case of Exchange contacts not syncing with iPhone, make sure you can see Exchange contacts on your iPhone. Navigate to Settings > Contacts > Accounts > Exchange.
