Pirates ladies hockey are looking for players that are interested in playing performance league. The Pirates hockey section provides coaches for each of the ladies teams and at least one practice per week.
The Air Pirates were a group of cartoonists who created two issues of an underground comic called Air Pirates Funnies in 1971, leading to a famous lawsuit by Walt Disney Productions. Founded by Dan O’Neill, the group also included Bobby London, Shary Flenniken, Gary Hallgren, and Ted Richards.
Seasonal - May through November. Notorious pirate captains, such as; Kidd, Blackbeard, Bellamy and Quelch, roamed the waters off Boston’s North Shore, known as the Gold Coast, while so-called witches were being hanged at Salem. Like many of today’s New Englanders, pirates spent their winters in the tropics and their summers here.
Our spirited crew of pirates are individually selected by Captain Memo himself. They are chosen not only for their enthusiastic personalities and immeasurable politeness, but also for their knowledgeable seamanship abilities.
