10 reviews of Plume Of Feathers "The Plume of Feathers is a lovely traditional pub near Greenwich a short walk from Maze Hill station. Situated alongside Greenwich Park, the pub is only a short walk from any landmarks in the Greenwich area. It is well worth seeking out; a little off the beaten track and populated by locals rather than tourists it's a comfortable little boozer.

This spectacular stretch of 3 ft ( 914 mm) narrow gauge railroad was completed in 1884 and considered an engineering marvel for its time. The thriving mining towns of Georgetown and Silver Plume lie 2 miles (3.2 km) apart in the steep, narrow canyon of Clear Creek in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver.
In Silver Plume, you’ll find the restored 1884 Silver Plume Depot, which offers a free slide show and exhibits on the history of the railroad, as well as steam engines and cars on view in the adjacent railyard. During the hour-long train ride, there’s an opportunity to stop and tour the 1870s Lebanon Mine.
In subsequent investigation, police found out that Tom had purchased a gun approximately four days before he vanished from Silver Plume. His case was later closed; it was ruled a suicide, both by the coroner’s office and the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Department. One week later on August 7, 1988, Keith closed up his store at around 2:30pm.
Nine months later, a new resident of Silver Plume, Keith Reinhard, opened an antique shop at exactly the same location. On August 7, 1988, Keith closed up his shop for the day. Less than two hours later, Keith Reinhard also disappeared.
The former mining town of Sliver Plume sits at one end of the three-mile, engineering masterpiece known as the Georgetown Loop Railroad ( Georgetown is at the other end). Visitors can start the rail ride from either location several times daily.
