Jazzercise is the original dance party workout. Blending dance with Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and strength training, one 55-minute session can burn up to 800 calories. Long, lean muscles and an undeniable mood boost.
I call it the “I go, you go workout.” You will need a training partner to do this so if you train alone you’re out of luck. Pick an exercise (preferably a body weight exercise such as pullups, dips, push ups etc.). Have one partner start by doing a rep. Once he’s done the second partner does a rep.
WOD stands for Workout of the Day. Most CrossFit gyms post one workout each day for their members and online followers to complete. One thing that sets Invictus apart from other CrossFit gyms and online training programs is that we recognize everyone has different fitness goals, abilities and needs.
The workout bands are also used for ‘resistance training’ by applying tension in your exercises to build strength, similar to weights, only without the incremental stress on your joints.
