How did lansinoh start?
Our Lansinoh family started 35 years ago with a breastfeeding mum – Resheda Hagen, when she embarked on what became the Lansinoh venture in 1978 in Portland, Oregon, when her first child was born. Resheda was breastfeeding, but after several days her nipples advanced from tender to excruciatingly sore.

Since our beginning 35 years ago in the kitchen of a new mom, Lansinoh has always been there for breastfeeding mothers and the healthcare providers who support them. Our founder’s own breastfeeding challenges created a passion to help other moms that still inspires everything we do today.
