No - we’re an independent community site offering support for both current and former Jehovah’s Witnesses and anyone else who has been affected by the beliefs, doctrines and practices of the Jehovah’s Witness religion as governed by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society (WTB&TS).
Jehovah’s Witnesses—Who Are We? We come from hundreds of ethnic and language backgrounds, yet we are united by common goals. Above all, we want to honor Jehovah, the God of the Bible and the Creator of all things. We do our best to imitate Jesus Christ and are proud to be called Christians.
Subjects include: Clinical strategies for managing hemorrhage and anemia without blood transfusion, the religious and ethical position of Jehovah’s Witnesses on medical therapy, and the services Witnesses offer to the medical community through their worldwide network of Hospital Liaison Committees.
The religion forbids celebrating birthdays, voting, serving in the military, and accepting blood transfusions, even in life-and-death situations. Witnesses were encouraged to devote themselves to bringing more converts into the religion before the end of the world arrived.
