Please contact us to request a quote. A & B Die Casting is ready to discuss your production needs. As we talked about in our last article, the die casting process is environmentally friendly in three major ways – it uses less waste, offers high accuracy, and long part life.
The die casting process involves the use of a furnace, molten metal, a die casting machine and a die that has been custom-fabricated for the part to be cast. The metal is melted in the furnace and then the die casting machine injects that metal into the dies.
Unique within the die-casting industry, Gibbs specializes in both vertical and horizontal die-cast processes which provide flexibility to meet a wide range of customer needs at competitive prices. Headquartered in Henderson, Kentucky, Gibbs employs over 1000 team members.
During the die casting process, the molten metal is poured or forced into the die casting mold cavity where the material cools and solidifies to become desired die casting parts. Draft – A certain degree of angle that allows die casting product to fall off from mold tool easily.
