Uncle Ned. Twice this morning 1-800-350-4577 called my cell phone number but did not leave a message. Since I did not recognize the number, I did not answer it. Checking the internet, I found that it may have been the fraud department at Discover. I called the main Discover card number on my credit card 1-800-DISCOVER.

A: You can file a lawsuit against a violator of the Do Not Call Registry in small claims court . But filing that suit costs money and takes a bit of legwork. After you’ve been on the Do Not Call list for 31 days, you can report unwanted sales calls. You need to have a log of the number the caller called from, and the time and the date.
