On Oct. 15, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa Las Vegas teamed up with Farnam, a long-standing partner of the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center, to officially open their brand new outdoor covered arena, Farnam Arena.
Dickies products are distributed all over the globe through volume retailers, department stores, sporting goods retailers, specialty footwear stores, online retailers, industrial laundries, and more. In 1967, Dickies® introduced its signature work pant, the Original 874 to the world. 50 years later it has become the world’s best selling work pant.
Initially a small family enterprise focused on producing bib overalls, the Dickies company grew rapidly and became a major player in the uniform apparel market and in World War II millions of soldiers wore uniforms bearing the Williamson-Dickie label of quality.
In 1967, Dickies® introduced its signature work pant, the Original 874 to the world. 50 years later it has become the world’s best selling work pant. In April 2017, Dickies® acquired naming rights for Dickies Arena, a new 14,000 seat arena, located in Fort Worth, Texas and set to open on Nov. 2019.
Despite the name, the band actually had five members: Diamond on drums, Sparks’ former manager John Hewlett on vocals, former Sparks guitarist Trevor White on bass, and two guitarists - Adrian Fisher plus Chuck Bob Davies Wagon (also of The Dickies) who shot himself before the band’s main recording session at Bearsville Studios were complete.
