Should I come to clasp’s office?
Please do not come to our office. If you have a new matter, please call our office at 416-736-5029. CLASP provides free legal advice and representation to members of the community, and to York students. We are funded by The Law Foundation of Ontario, Legal Aid Ontario, York students, and Osgoode Law Hall School.
Who are clasp service partners?
CLASP Service Partners are leaders in delivering appropriate provision to people with disabilities in their communities. We are currently working with 18 local organizations in 16 countries. We are here to help!
Does clasp provide family law services?
Effective July 2020, CLASP no longer provides family law services. If you require family law services, you can contact the following: The Law Society of Ontario at 1‑800‑268‑7568 (toll‑free), which offers 30 minutes of free legal advice to help determine whether a family law matter is urgent.
What does clasp do?
Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) CLASP provides free legal advice and representation to members of the community, and to York students. We are funded by The Law Foundation of Ontario, Legal Aid Ontario, York students, and Osgoode Law Hall School. Students work in our clinic under the supervision of experienced lawyers.
What is the purpose of a buckle or clasp?
The buckle or clasp is a device used for fastening two loose ends, with one end attached to it and the other held by a catch in a secure but adjustable manner. Often taken for granted, the invention of the buckle has been indispensable in securing two ends before the invention of the zipper.
