The Bandon Historical Society was founded in 1976 and is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization with the mission of preserving and presenting historical material and artifacts related to the history of the Bandon area.
The Westport Historical Society (WHS) actively preserves the unique moment in history of the great Westward Migration by sharing the stories of how Kansas City began and by educating the greater Kansas City community of Westport’s role in the shaping of the society in America. WHS is headquartered in the 1855 Harris-Kearney House in Westport, MO.
