According to the National Association of REALTORS ®, 87% of buyers enlisted the help of a buyer’s agent when purchasing a new home in 2018. So even though you’re a FSBO seller, it’s more than likely that you’ll find yourself working with a buyer’s agent during the process of selling your home.
Simply click the Register tab at the top of the page, fill out our brief registration form and select whether you are a buyer or seller. If you are selling a home and buying a home you can create an account for each. Once you have registered our powerful system and team goes to work to find you a match!
The Listing Agent can give the Buyer’s Agent permission to contact the seller. This permission can be very broad or narrow, depending on the Listing Agents preference. One common example of narrow permission is when a Listing Agent states in MRIS that the cooperating agents should contact the seller prior to showing the property.
Occasionally a home buyer and seller get together, unbeknownst to both agents and prior to the closing. With out an agent present misunderstandings can certainly arise.
Even though the seller ends up paying the buyer’s agent via a commission split, the buyer’s agent is still responsible only to the buyer. It is the buyer’s agent’s job to present your offer to the listing agent. If you’d like your agent to present your offer directly to the seller, your agent can ask the listing agent for permission to do so.
