Unfortunately, sometime in the 1970s the bakery closed and I couldn’t find an alternative for the pies in or around New Bedford.

I will skip Betty’s for sure next time and Just go to a grocery store and get pie. My top 2 reasons to make a stop here: pasties for a meal and pie for dessert. If you only have a short amount of time then don’t drive past here without picking up a slice of pie.
