• What is athletes training center?

  In 2009, Travis partnered with Nick Wegener to start Athletes’ Training Center, with a unique, research-based approach to physical therapy and sports performance. The goal was to build a facility to serve as a resource for athletes and their families to find unmatched rehabilitative care, training and service.

• What does the USOPC do for athletes?

  The USOPC supports Olympic and Paralympic athletes via a variety of programs for both athletes and their National Governing Bodies - including training facilities, sports medicine and science, coaching education, health insurance, education and career services and more.

  Many athletes are urged to abandon amateur status to be compensated for their services as a professional. Contracts for the employment of athletes should always be in writing and should contain covenants by the athlete like promising to refrain from certain acts, such as participating in dangerous activities.
